Flame Retardancy
Fluon® PTFE, Fluon® PFA and Fluon® ETFE are UL 94V-0 approved with the exception of modified grades such as filled compounds.
Fluon® PTFE and Fluon® PFA are extremely flame-retardant plastics. The Limiting Oxygen Index of Fluon® PTFE and Fluon® PFA is 95 or above.

Electrical Properties
The dielectric constant of fluoropolymers is the lowest of all plastics and hardly changes at all with changes in frequency.
The volume resistivity of fluoropolymers is also extremely high compared to other plastics.
