Fluon® PTFE has the typical characteristics of fluoropolymers.
Finished PTFE products are produced by machining them from a
moulding, often produced by compression moulding.

Fluon® PFA offers the
same characteristics as Fluon® PTFE and also offers
the advantage of being suitable for producing complicated shapes
as it can be melt processed.
Ultra Pure Fluon® PFA, a PFA grade manufactured to
be as pure as possible, is also available from Asahi Glass to
meet the demands of high-purity applications in the semiconductor
industry.

Fluon® ETFE is a copolymer
comprising of tetrafluoroethylene and ethylene with outstanding
processability, mechanical properties and radiation resistance.
Asahi Glass also offer Fluon® LM-ETFE, which gives
improved processability as it is a lower melting point grade.
The Asahi Glass range also includes F-CLEAN® films.
