| Fluon®
PTFE fibrillates easily by shear strength. Fluon®
PTFE that has this fibrillation characteristic can improve the melt-tension
of thermoplastics. Fluon®PTFE granular grades, CD grades and
AD grades can be used for this application. CD grades are particularly suited because of their easy handling and
good fibrillation ability. Generally 0.1-1.0 % of PTFE is
added for matrix thermoplastics. |
